Yes, we accept un-neutered dogs. Spayed females and castrated males are preferable, though as long as your dog does not display any unwanted aggression or antisocial behaviour, we will happily board your pets.

Owners must provide a vaccination card which is fully up to date including Kennel Cough. The card will remain here at the Kennels throughout the booking.


Owners must also bring:

· Food
· Bedding
· Crates
· Medication
· Toys and home comforts
· A collar with name tag
· Bowls

Should any of these items be missing upon arrival, or run out during the stay, you must hire or purchase any necessary items from Murie Kennels.

Yes, we are licensed to board two dogs from the same household. We also have the option to make a double kennel, by opening an adjoining internal door, much like a twin hotel room, where 4 dogs from the same household can share a sleeping area.

Yes, all Kennels have heating which turns on automatically. All kennels are fully insulated, with daylight roof panels.

Drop offs are from 4:30-6:30 pm and collections are from 8:30-10:30 am.

Yes, during your stay your dog will benefit from a morning and evening woodland walk. We also offer an optional additional walk for £15 for 1 dog and £20 for 2 dogs, per day.

Yes, we will follow your instructions on all required medication. Our experienced staff will provide the very best of care and we can tailor our routines to fit the needs of your dogs. Please see our T&C’s for more detailed information.

We will closely monitor your dogs well being and behaviour during their stay. Should your dog display any signs of distress you and your emergency contact will be immediately informed.

We will observe your dog closely and staff members will be on site 24hrs a day. Any signs of illness and we will contact you and your emergency contact immediately and together we will decide the best course of action. We have an isolation kennel available should we decide that your dog poses a risk of infection to other dogs. We will already have all your medical requirements and vet details upon arrival.

If you are delayed for collection Murie Kennels will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate your dog and understand the situation. There may be extra charges. Just try to keep us informed.

Our policies on dealing with reactive or aggressive dogs are given in our T&C’s. If your dog has a bite history, or has displayed aggression in the past Murie Kennels will not board your dog. Should your dog arrive and instantly display high levels of barking, growling or severe anxiety, Murie Kennels reserves the right to deny access.
